Panel: Hijacked histories

Date and time: Saturday 4 March 1:30 – 2:30 pm
Venue: St Mary’s Church Hall
Tickets: $25  / Concession $20

How “truthful” are writers of history? What can they get away with, and whose truth do they tell anyway?

Featuring authors who rewrite history, correct a previous version of events, or create a fiction based on fragments of historical fact, this is going to be a fascinating dive into the workings of historical authors who have done their research…and are changing our perception of what is and isn’t history.
