On 19 June a bunch of intrepid readers and writers gathered at the Delatite Hotel to discuss the idea of holding a literary festival in Mansfield in 2023.
The vote was unanimous! We’re going ahead!
And our next planning meeting on Sunday 10 July is a great way to get involved in important decisions about our festival – from the start!
A handful have agreed to be the founding committee of an incorporated association.
Dozens more have already signed up to be involved
At this meeting, we’ll set the foundations for the festival including agreeing on our vision and purpose, confirming a date and signing off on name and whether we need a theme.
And, it’s your first chance to sign up for membership – become a founder member and be part of this event from the very beginning!
